Welcome to my blog.

First of all I want to say thank you to all of you who decided to follow, comment, or simply took time to check out my blog. YOU are my inspiration. I'll try my best to keep up the good work. By the way, you get $1 from Minoccio every time you comment. Just kidding.

So this is how it all started.

My husband and I fell in love with films when we were in our senior year of college. Of course, both of us enjoyed going to the movies long before that, but college is when we realized that it can be art, and not just entertainment.

Willing to learn more about this art form, we decided to watch all of the movies that were in IMDb Top 250 List. A year later I though it would be a good idea to start a blog where I could write reviews for the movies we've seen. Unfortunately, we had been about half way done by the time that thought crossed my mind. That's when my husband proposed that I could start with the bottom 125 movies from the list, and once I'm done, we could watch the top 125 movies again, so I could give them fresh reviews before the details are forgotten. So don't be surprised that my first review is dedicated to the film that is # 126 on the list.

There were other technical issues too. The most important one was what language to write this blog in. My native language is Russian, however I feel that I know English well enough, and this could be another way to practice my language skills, as well as provide a wider audience for my blog.

I'm not doing this on my own, my husband promised to help me with some of the reviews. I'm doing it mostly for myself, but I hope somebody will find this blog interesting, so any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
